Se concentrant sur le troisième chant, constitué par une joute verbale entre le vieux Väinämöinen et le jeune Joukahainen, suite à une collision de leurs traîneaux, <i>Aisa aisan</i> mêlera ainsi percussion et voix sur les modes du répondant, du conflictuel, de l’enchantement ou du dégagement.
